There are many variations of the persecution from the discrimination to the most cruel murders. According to reliable surveys, in our days in every five minutes a Christian gets killed because of his religion. We keep praying for them regularly.
We do not want to raise feelings against the pursuers in any way, and even less want we to incite anybody to get revenge. Keeping the martyrs’ memory alive was always part of the Church’s history. The support of the coreligionist is also an ancient routine, therein firstly the Christian families who were persecuted from their homeland, and their churches, homes and schools were destroyed in shambles.
